OCTOBER 27TH | 7 PM | ONLINE

We are delighted to present a FREE webinar with Professor Jeremy Holmes, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, author and one of the leading voices in attachment-informed psychotherapy.
Over a career spanning more than 35 years, Jeremy has brought together attachment theory, psychoanalysis, psychiatry and psychotherapy, exploring how our earliest relationships shape the way we relate to ourselves, to others and within the therapeutic relationship.
In conversation with Jane Brown, Jeremy will reflect on his life’s work, including his writing on John Bowlby and attachment theory, the therapeutic relationship, and the ideas that have shaped and challenged his thinking along the way.
The conversation will also explore themes from his latest book, The Spirit of Psychotherapy: A Hidden Dimension, including meaning, spirituality, imagination and how psychotherapy can help us live with uncertainty.
This will be an opportunity to hear from Jeremy not simply about attachment theory, but about what a lifetime of clinical practice, research and writing has taught him about psychotherapy and what really matters in the therapy room.
Don’t miss your CPD certificate and exclusive reflection pack after the live online event - just select “yes” on the sign-up form to receive yours.

Professor Jeremy Holmes is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, author and internationally recognised figure in attachment-informed psychotherapy. He is Honorary Professor at the University of Exeter and has written extensively on attachment theory, psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. His books include John Bowlby and Attachment Theory, Attachment in Therapeutic Practice and, most recently, The Spirit of Psychotherapy: A Hidden Dimension.
Jane Brown is an experienced Relationship Counsellor, Attachment-Based Therapist and Lecturer, working with individuals and couples in private practice and with Relate. She also teaches relationship counselling and attachment-focused practice, bringing warmth, curiosity and a strong relational focus to both her clinical and teaching work.

Optima Attachment Training is a specialist training and wellbeing organisation for people who want to understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape how they live and work.
Our work is rooted in attachment-informed practice, but we do not believe insight should stay in theory books or training rooms. It needs to be useful. It needs to make sense in real life.
We offer professional training, therapeutic learning, couples retreats, and restorative retreats for therapists who spend so much of their lives holding others.
At the heart of it all is the same belief: when people understand themselves more clearly, they can relate differently, recover differently, and grow in ways that last.
